I'm a bit confused what the purpose of this is. To the best of my knowledge, RTW's editor can already update levels from older RTW versions. The only thing it can't read correctly is the LV1 format (which this tool apparently can't do either at the moment).

So am I correct in assuming the only thing this converter can do that RTW's editor can't is downgrade levels to an earlier format (other than LV1)?

It can convert the format to LV1
it's useful for convert level file versions

LV1 doesn't have a level id unlike LV4,LV5,LV6

it just converts the level formats. I said it can't convert the object id's for the right from WSW,RTW, RTWP, RTWC, to tow cause there is different object id's in tow.

it would be possible to convert your levels to work, from RTW to tow or WSW.
