Need computer help

I'm hoping one of you computer people can help.

The display on my monitor was perfectly clear, then it flickered suddenly and became blurry and has stayed that way. I can still read, but everything looks like it is out of focus. Can you tell why, what can I do about it, etc.?

Could be your tube - if so, that sounds like a new one might be needed?

Have you tried wiggling your monitor connections about to see if they are loose? If I were you, I would take them out completely and put them back in and re-start your PC?

Sorry, didn't know anyone was waiting to see if I wiggled!

I wiggled and waggled and haggled with tech support. The end result is the tube is going.

The only way I can get a clear display is to let the monitor go into hibernation, let it rest awhile, then wake it up. The clear display only lasts a little while and then goes back fuzzy. As a result, I haven't been playing or posting much. Been trying to keep up with downloading the levels though. Hope to be able to replace it in the next few weeks!

I'm back and can see again!

Wow! I never realized how bad the old monitor was until I got the new one hooked up! Everything is perfectly clear and the colors are vibrant! Didn't know what I was missing!

I am way, way behind on levels as I couldn't play but a few minutes without the the screen going all blurry. So please be patient and I will do my best to catch up. Thanks to all who have put out so many levels!

Nice to see you back in the nuthouse Gen, it's not the same when one of our MacNutters disappears for a while.

Hope you have better luck than me at catching up with the levels, I'll never manage it now.

Maybe the wee mouse will help you, if he does can I borrow him?
