Castaway

Post by bordeaux » Sat Sep 10, 2005 4:41 pm

Here's a silly story level. A few puzzles, but nothing too difficult. Follow the signs, they pretty much tell you what to do. Have fun.

Awesome looking level Bordeaux .. I managed to read some of the signs and had a little chuckle to myself ... sadly it's a bit too "jerky" for me to play

Maybe Santa will bring me a more powerful computer ? Here's hoping :P

Kazza :) :)

"Jerky" for me too. And my computer (I thought) is pretty powerful. If I alt tab out and back in, it's ok for a while again, but after a few minutes goes back. Makes thosez-bots hard to deal with.

It is just the sheer size of it?

But I love a level with a story line.

Sorry this is not working. It's not jerky on my computer so I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe it is the size. If anyone out there knows what I should do to fix it, I'm all ears

OK, despite the jerky movement, I'm determined to rescue your castaway. Of the 8 levels of yours I've tried, I've only managed 3 (and I'm sure I needed help.) :D :D ) This one is proving to be just as hard. But maybe I'm just overwhlemed by the size of it all. I love your puzzles.

Having said that.... HEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

I don't even now what to ask. I've followed the signs posted. Loof has to build a bridge, Peegue eventually does too, I think. I can't fugure out how to get the boxes and boulders both destroyed. I think I need the boulder to get the boxes, but then I can't get rid of the boulders. I think. I might be totaly on the wrong track. Can you give me a nudge in some direction?

Maybe.... (throwing up hands in frustration) maybe I should stick to the kids levels! :D :D :D :D

Hey Loirae, Heres a spoiler. Let me know if this helps.

Start by destroying the boxes on Loof's island. You will need to figure out the boulder seqence and then push the two boxes by the kaboom into the water. You will be left with the boulders and have to destroy them later but will need Qookie and Peegues help.

Thanks. I did figure out the sequence before. Got that part done, but started freaking out cause then the other things seem stuck. I guess I should've just kept going. But I wasn't sure where to go from there. Back to it, then.

BTW, I went back to your other levels I haven't completed.

I always thought of myself as a smart woman until I met you and your stinker puzzles.

Well, and many other people too. I LOVE WONDERLAND, but it make me feel stupid sometimes.

Thanks.

ARGH!!!!!! Bordeaux! You evil, evil person!  I finally got all the puzzles solved and took the first person into the welcome home party only to have 20 seconds left on the clock. TIME RAN OUT!!!!!!

Since I've done it 40 or 50 times and have gotten most of it down to a science, I have to now figure out where to shave seconds off here and there so I can actually get people out. I thought I was doing it prett efficently. Are you hiding timer/clocks anywhere?

I hang my head and shake it in disbelief.

I love this game.

Hey Loirae, Keep trying. I can make in the alloted time. Hiding timers would have been a good idea, I'll keep that in mind next time. I don't get much feedback of my bigger levels, so I appreciate you sticking with this one.

Brute force is the way, so it seems.
