Technical Difficulties

Here's the story... I wanted to transfer my RTW game to another pc in

my house. I succsessfully transfered each file(mostly). I start the loader

as it makes thatt popping sound and cha-ching. Stinky says please wait

we are loading the game and loof says he doesnt want to wait. The game

loads but there is no sound. Checked the options(emphasis) [CHECKED

THE OPTIONS!!!]

(end emphasis) still did'nt work! BTW im crazy and

emphasize everything!

Check the sound settings for the pc. Is it an older pc? Check the sound card. Check what version of Direct X is on it.

When you say you successfully transfered each file, which ones are you talking about? The levels, or files within the game itself?

It is a new machine. So far i got the music to work!

I know this is a daft question, but did you install RTW on the new machine or just transfer the program files across?

Tranfered. I got the music to work but cant seem to get the sound to. Still trying.

Haven't you got the original .exe file so that you can install it properly? I don't think things work right when you just transfer the files. You can copy over your player file when it's installed again.

Either returntowonderlandfull.exe for the first RTW or rtwdeluxesetup.exe for RTWDeluxe. I have both of them on disk in case I have to reinstall them.

I fixed it! Finnaly. the sounds were a revelation!
