The wicked Baron has taken all of their money,
'Help Us' they ask, disregarding my danger,
They have me mixed up - I'm not ... 'The Lone Ranger'

ol'gramma says it well. I had a poem explaining how I solved the puzzle but I liked her poem better. Our ways were different other than the editor.ol'gramma wrote:Stop making puzzles

The whole level was based on solving THAT task,
I'd have given a hint but no-one did ask,
If this is what most players do,
Then I think to myself .. 'Am I through?'
There seems little point in creating more,
If you use the editor to solve any chore,
In taking this view surely I am not wrong,
I intended for my adventures to go on and on.![]()
Oh for crying out loud, lighten up both of you will ya!malcdelsol wrote:Finally, the moment you load a level into the Editor (if only to peek) before completing it is quite simply CHEATING
You cannot do this with the 'Standard' levels that come with the game.
If someone spends hours/days in creating a puzzle level in a certain style then that is HOW IT IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED.
To use words such as ' additional creativity' as an excuse for using the Editor is a complete delusion in my book - it's CHEATING
The standard levels come with walkthroughs on some levels and hints are given if someone writes to the creator.malcdelsol wrote:

Wow, and you thought my post was bad, Ramonda really slapped you in the face with her post.malcdelsol wrote:However, to then say that you have completed the level through 'additional creativity' is self-delusion.
Considering the underlined sentences, I think Ramonda's fully aware that she did not really solve the level as given, and I'm pretty sure she knows she's not fooling anyone into thinking otherwise.Ramonda wrote:I only used the word cheat originally in my poem in a fun way. I do not see it as cheating at all but rather additional creativity. Sometimes I change the style of someone's level. There are a few styles that visually are not to my liking. With a click of the editor, I am pleased.
I don't want a hint. I do still try to figure out the original now and then. In the meantime, I like to enjoy the rest of the creation.

I have no objection to anyone using a hint, a full Online Solution or indeed the Editor.
I've missed no point,malcdelsol wrote:Hi Ramonda,
You miss the point entirely.
The 'objection' (your word not mine) that I have is not that you used the Editor but in having done so you then believe that you have completed the level through 'additional creativity'.
I am sorry, it is CHEATING
It is a fact - live with it![]()

Ok, so your good at poetry - I'll give you that.
Obviously we have entirely different views on this matter and there is little point in arguing further.
I have made my point, and without doubt so have you.
I for one am happy to let it rest.
