It is made by a one man compagny who just made glass things. Sadly enough he had to stop with the business because with lifting all those heavy glass he hurt his back and has a hernia. He is not allowed to lift heavy things anymore.rescuefire wrote:WOWDuiveltje wrote:Isn't it beautiful, I still can look at it and think "I love that desk". You're not the first one to say this JG, what I am suprised at is that none of you "old timers" remember the "Qookie & Emily" stories I use to write about. Gawd, I had to buy toys, clothes & cook for that little stinker,JG wrote:4. Once again I originally had this as Laura, but I changed it to Ann because the clue was something about Pooh, and Ann has Pooh as her avatar.

And here I thought mine was pretty obvious! The eyeballs were a clue (both mine and hubby's were on the screen on my computer). But the biggest clue was the photo of my bleach-blond little boy on the top of the desk. I figured everyone who looked up the photos for the eyball contest would have noticed the little blondie amonst a family full of brunettes (he is legit btwjanetgalle wrote: 8. Laurie, your desk does look Canadian! (No, it was the eyeballs that clued me in.)

Oh yes I remember them (they were so cute!).......if only you had said "Qookie and Emily", (Well maybe that would have given it away.) or "Qookie and Somebody" or even "Qookie and ?", we wouldn't have been so confused!!! Where exactly did Pooh come into it?laura n. wrote: You're not the first one to say this JG, what I am suprised at is that none of you "old timers" remember the "Qookie & Emily" stories I use to write about.

I love Pooh, all my avatars use to be nothing but Pooh, Kym made me tons of themJG wrote:Where exactly did Pooh come into it?
Oh, sorry, Janet! I'm often cryptic, but not that cryptic.janetgalle wrote:2. I originally had Loirae down as #2 from the clue, then I changed it 'cause somewhere in her "tell me about yourself" back and forth with Laurie she said "I haven't got a clue" so I looked for one without a clue.
Just kidding Laurie.wonderfull wrote: And just how does my desk look "Canadian" btw?
