That's pretty awesome. I love how in all these retro games, any sort of data can be read for almost anything.
I was kinda bored so I wrote down a bunch of working weapons in HL2b that were cut from the final.
------------------------------------
Sniper rifle - Like the combine one in the game. The scope doesn't work yet.
AR1 - Rapid-fire weapon. No animations for it.
Molotov Cocktail - Exactly what it says. The viewmodel isn't Gordon holding a molotov, though - for some reason it's a headcrab.
Combine Guard Gun - Extremely powerful, kills almost anything in one hit. Don't stand too close, though.
Fire Extinguisher - Was to be used on the Borealis and Kraken Base chapters to put out fires. The extinguisher foam doesn't show.
Thumper - Portable Antlion repellent. Looks like a yellow Fire Hydrant.
Immolator - Seems to be a Combine flamethrower of some sort. I don't understand this one.
Ice Axe - Just like Gordon's crowbar, only faster, does less damage, and presumably was to break ice during the Borealis chapter.
Phys Gun - Ever played G-Mod? Cuz that's basically what that is. Cut for redundancy against the Gravity Gun.
"SMG2" - Another sub-machine gun type weapon. Can't remember the actual name.
Incendiary Rifle - Flare gun. Uses the AR2 model from the final game. Epic.
Sticky Launcher - Shows the default pistol. Launches "Sticky bombs" that adhere to stuff. Very cool.
Stun Baton - Just like the ones that Metrocops use in the final game. Originally to be used as a weapon. Despite how little damage it does to the player, it does massive damage to NPC's.
Hopwire Grenade - This one is apparently very unfinished and unstable from what I've heard. Once it's thrown, it floats up into the air and launches tethers everywhere. Apparently it can crash the game, though it does absolutely nothing for me.
-------------------------------
Speaking of the Hopwire, there's another interesting weapon cut from Episode 1 that's still available through the console, also known as "Hopwire":
Vortex Hopwire - EDIT: Once again, despite being warned as unstable, I've got no problems with it. Throw it, center the cursor on it, and press Primary fire (I think) to set it off. Creates a black hole that sucks NPC's and everything else towards it. Very awesome.
