Played the first level, but there are a few things you should fix/add:
-Disable double jumping when you're on a ladder.
-Make it so you can double jump again when you touch a geyser.
-When you release the up arrow, make it so that your vertical speed is cut in half if it's negative. This allows for variable jumping.
Ok, all done(now it's a lot closer to ET2, )...but changing the masks on the rocks. I tried it...I don't know what the heck happened up there but they started landing on nothing offscreen after I changed it.
Also, I ended up putting 19 sounds, instead of 10.
The rock fall parts are a bit difficult... You should make them break when they hit you, causing you too lose some health. OHKOs are too unforgiving, I think.
Also, I think I found a glitch... I can't go any farther.

When I fixed the other glitch the checkpoint got moved into the rockslide, so now you won't have to wory about that.(Since It'll be covered with rocks)
Well, after demo 2 comes out.
For you no instant-ko idea, your max hp is 100. Are you ok with 10 damage when it cracks on your head?
Ok, after a break of a few days(I did a few ajustments, but that's it) I'm working on levels again.(The level number will include bosses, since that's what I have them saved as)
I desided to do something diffrent for level 7. Hopefully this will last longer than the other ones.

No...I've been working on WBA so I haven't had much progress. Level 7 is allmost done and will probaly only take 5 minutes to finish up, but other than that there hasen't been progress.
Me and a friend of mine were playing around with it editing varibles so you get things like ninja jumps, low gravity, unlimited ammo, and 50x the damage. Should I add a "level" that lets you play around with that stuff yourself? The Debug Cave...
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

Put a challenge so the player has to earn Debug cave!
For example,
Like Sonic 2... (xD)
The player must enter a certain amount of pairs of digits. If the player entered the correct number, a sound of your choice from the game plays.
(I sugguest one saying HAAX!!!)
The digits should look like this.
01/02/03/04/05/06/07/08/09/0A/0B/0C/0D/10
And you should have at least 5.
But don't put them in order. randomize them.
Upon access to debug, these are the commands.
(You need to program in a diffrnet jump button for this to work)
Jump button - Change from player to an object
New Jump Button - Jump
Shift button (LEFT) - Place Object
A & B - Cycle through objects (A) Go left (B) Go Right
Probably too long to put in but its more rewarding that way.
And the Debug cave should appear on the menu when its unlocked
